Dogwood is a wonderful campground to bring your family. Plenty of activities to keep busy. Wonderful staff and friendly campers. We love camping at Dogwood.
There is a great playground for the kids as well as fishing pond, hayrides and a ton of other activities. I would HIGHLY recommend this campground to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay!!
THIS REVIEW IS LONG OVERDUE;) WE FIRST MET CHARLIE AND LUCILLE SUMMER OF 2013, WHEN MY HUSBAND WAS DEPLOYED TO AFGHANISTAN. I DECIDED TO TAKE MY 3 CHILDREN CAMPING, PULLED OUR CAMPER FOR THE FIRST TIME, AND WE ARRIVED TO THE CAMPGROUND WITH A FLAT TIRE:/ CHARLIE IMMEDIATELY FIXED IT! THAT SAME TRIP HE HELPED TROUBLE SHOOT SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE HOT WATER, AND AN ADAPTER FOR THE ELECTRICAL HOOKUP. HE AND HIS FAMILY HAVE CONTINUED TO WOW ME AND MY FAMILY EACH SUBSEQUENT VISIT. AND THERES ALWAYS SOMETHING TO TROUBLESHOOT WITH THE GRIFFIES AND MILLERS! DOGWOOD ACRES IS HANDS DOWN OUR FAVORITE SPOT! CHARLIE, LUCILLE AND KRISTEN TREAT US LIKE FAMILY. MY CHILDREN TALK ABOUT OUR WEEKENDS AT DOGWOOD LONG AFTER THE WEEKENDS END, AND CANT WAIT TIL WE RETURN. ITS SUCH A SAFE, FAMILY ATMOSPHERE!!!!!! THANK YOU, CHARLIE, LUCILLE, KRISTEN AND STAFF FOR ALL THAT YOU DO! WELL DONE!!!!!
This is the best campground. They treat everyone like family, there always seems to be some kind of activity going on which is great! They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great! The seasonal campers are also extremely friendly treating you like you are one of them! Once we found this campground we can not imagine going anywhere else!
Another great Halloween weekend. Everyone goes over and above to make sure the kids have a great time.
